Taqwa Sacco was voted as the best Shariah Compliant Sacco during the International Islamic Microfinance Awards organized by the International body, Al-Huda Centre of Islamic Banking & Economics (CIBE).
On this day, we became among the few licensed Deposit-Taking (DT) saccos in Kenya. Taqwa Sacco officially begun offering banking services to our members.
Taqwa SACCO created a mobile money platform TaqwaHela to increase access to service for its Members across the country. This platform has enabled members to transact anywhere anytime.
In our committment to provide you with lifetime investment, Taqwa Sacco purchased Konza plots that has since been subdivided and title deeds in process of being handed over to members.
On this day, Pres. U. Kenyatta launched the affordable housing program. In order to provide our members with a chance to own home, Taqwa Sacco participated in this flagship project by securing 200 units (2Br and 3Br).

We are humbled to have celebrated Taqwa SACCO’s Chairman Dr. Ahmed Yussuf at Jamia Multipurpose Hall. He was recognised among the 100 Most Influential Kenyan Muslims. A great leader indeed and has jointly contributed to the success of Taqwa SACCO together with the board.
On this day, Taqwa Sacco was Awarded a Certificate of Excellence by TMM for being one of the institutions who have positively impacted the Muslim community in Kenya in 2021.
